In an exceptional demonstration of international cooperation and educational exchange, the City & Guilds China Approved Centre was invited by the Shangdang District Vocational Senior High School in Chengzhi City, Shanxi Province, China, to successfully host an educational seminar on internationally accredited vocational education.

在国际合作与教育交流的卓越展示中，拥有超过140年职业培训经验的英国伦敦城市行业协会（City & Guilds）中国授权中心受中国山西省长治市上党区职业高级中学邀请，成功举办了一场精彩无比的教育研讨会。

The event brought together leading China-based figures in the field,who shared their unique insights and professional knowledge in fostering global educational partnerships through global vocational education and multicultural exchange.

此次研讨会汇聚了中国国际教育领域的领军人物，分享了他们通过全球职业教育和多元文化交流促进全球教育伙伴关系的独特见解和专业知识。

Shaun Corrigan, with several decades of background in international business and vocational training, led discussions on international project management and the complexities of cooperation. His expertise was particularly valuable in addressing the dynamics of international cooperation infrastructure and cross-cultural partnerships in Chinese vocational schools.

凭借其在国际商务和职业培训方面的丰富背景，Shaun主导了关于中国与国际项目管理和合作复杂性的讨论。他强调跨文化交流的重要性，同时职业院校需要充分意识到建立平等的合作伙伴关系，以及互利互惠协议的必要程度。

As Managing Director of BMC Partnership and the City & Guilds China Approved Centre, Charlie He focused on the practical aspects of international education projects. He provided professional guidance in negotiating and implementing international cooperation projects, emphasising the importance of creating mutually beneficial agreements and effectively managing educational projects as crucial junctures for international cultural exchange.  

作为BMC Partnership和City & Guilds中国授权中心的执行总监，Charlie专注于国际教育项目的执行层面。他在中国院校开展国际合作谈判和实施阶段的环节中都分享了有趣且实用的案例。

The seminar centred around the key topic of how Chinese international vocational schools can prepare for and successfully undertake international cooperation projects. Through live interaction, Shaun and Charlie brainstormed with numerous education experts at the seminar; discussing tailored project action plans applicable to the school's specific circumstances, and covering all considerations from the initial preparatory stages before the start of international cooperation projects, to the learning process after completion.

本次研讨会围绕中国国际职业院校如何筹备与顺利开展国际合作项目的重要话题进行分享和现场交流。Shaun和Charlie通过现场互动的方式与会议中的众多教育专家展开积极讨论，探讨出适合学校具体情况的为其量身定制的项目行动方案，并涵盖从国际合作项目开始前的初始准备阶段，到完成后的学习过程的所有考虑。

The seminar not only covered a wide range of topics but also, through organisation by City & Guilds China Approved Centre, proposed focus areas for each stage of international cooperation:

1. Preliminary Preparation: Establishing a robust international cooperation framework, including stakeholder participation and a 360 needs assessment.

2. Project Negotiation: Establishing clear, mutually beneficial cooperation terms, focusing on legal, resource allocation, and communication strategies.   

3. Project Implementation: Ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of project execution, with a focus on quality management and independent regulatory oversight.

4. Quality and Sustainability: Developing a sustainability plan to maintain the quality and relevance of educational projects.

1. 前期准备：建立坚实的国际合作框架，包括利益相关者的参与和需求评估。

2. 项目谈判：建立明确的、互利的合作条件，关注法律、资源配置和沟通策略。

3. 项目实施：确保项目执行的有效性和效率，重点是质量管理和独立的监管监督。

Additionally, the interactive sessions at the seminar enabled participants to engage in real-time discussions, share viewpoints, and explore solutions tailored to the practical needs of their institutions. The seminar also underscored the student-centred core concept, emphasising the alignment of educational projects with industry needs to promote ongoing industry development.
